Will you commit to pray and connect with a High School student?

Prayer and encouragement is an essential ingredient for our High School students as they pursue this summer missions trip. Would you please commit to praying and encouraging them in tangible ways as they prepare?

What each student is doing: Each student is working to raise funds for this trip by sending their student bio links to family and friends for prayer and financial support. They are also working with our group to raise funds together.

Where you come in: Student fees are something each student is working on, but we are NOT ASKING you to cover those costs for them. However, we ARE ASKING if you would please commit to the following:

  • Read their bio thoroughly and understand what this trip is all about! (click here for more trip info)
  • Agree to adopt the student assigned to you.
  • Pray faithfully for them. (Each student listed specific prayer requests in their bios)
  • Check in with them every couple weeks to see how they are doing with funds and mindset. Call, text, email, send a notecard of encouragement etc. Let them know you are still praying for them to learn ALL God has in store as they plan and prepare. 
  • Show interest in their trip before AND after! (Make a point to connect with them at church if you see them etc...if appropriate: have them for dinner or coffee after the trip and hear all the stories)

Bottomline: Reach out, encourage and pray for them! 
I trust you will be mutually blessed as you spiritually invest and tangibly connect with your student.
