Leadership

 Jon was raised in a Christian home and came to know Christ as his
Savior during family devotions at the age of seven. He attended and
graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College and upon
completion moved to San Jose CA where he met and married his
wife Patti. They were married in 2002 at the church where he was
serving as the part time assistant pastor. In 2005 Jon began to
attend The Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, CA. During his first
year at the seminary Gracie, their oldest daughter, was born! Pastor
Jon graduated from Cornerstone Seminary in 2008, the same year
he accepted the position of youth pastor in Los Gatos, CA. He
served as youth pastor from January of 2008 until August of 2015.
During this time his daughters Anna (2009) and Isabelle (2014) were
born. Jon began his ministry here at Grace Baptist Church in August
of 2015. Jon, enjoys woodworking, reading, fishing, and spending
time with his girls.

Benjamin was raised by Christian parents and found Christ as his savior at the age of four. He graduated from Shasta Bible College in Redding, CA and was married at Grace Baptist Church in 2010 to his wife Melissa. Together they moved to Tacoma, WA for Benjamin to attend Northwest Baptist Seminary (later merging with Corban in Salem, OR). In 2012 their son Micah was born. In 2013 Benjamin graduated from Seminary in WA and accepted a job at Shasta Bible College. Benjamin’s role there was predominately as Dean of Students. He also taught courses in Theology and Christian Ministry. In 2014 his daughter Evelyn was born, joined by his youngest son Isaiah in 2016. Benjamin and Melissa love the country, time with family, and coffee. Benjamin began his ministry at Grace Baptist Church in the Summer of 2018.

Andrew grew up in the Redding area and has been involved in the ministry of Grace Baptist Church since 2005. He trusted Jesus Christ as Savior as a youth and enjoyed the blessing of a Christian home with 5 other siblings.  In 2012 Andrew married his wife Jamie, and has three children. Andrew has been serving Grace Baptist Church as Youth Pastor since 2013 and graduated from at Shasta Bible College. Andrew and his family live locally and love the Redding area. 

Cheryl was born and raised in Yakima, Washington, joyfully accepting Christ as her Savior and being baptized there. She was discipled through an amazing youth group and Bible quizzing program, dedicating her life to serving the Lord. She studied Music and Bible at Simpson University, graduating with a degree in Music Ministry in 2006. She's been married to Jonathan for almost 20 years, and they have two teenagers who love the Grace Baptist youth group (and Awana before that). The Dummers have been members at Cow Creek Community Church for 8 years and serve together on the worship team. You've probably already seen her around the Grace Baptist campus, especially on Tuesday afternoons, as she directs the Grace Notes Choir and will be continuing with that role. She is so thankful for such a warm welcome from the Grace Family, and looks forward to meeting everyone (even it it's just over the phone).
