Invite some friends! Arrange child care (if needed). Have a heart that is open to grow and ready to hear what God has for you and your spouse. That's all there is to it!

Our purposes

The purpose of our family ministry is to nurture and strengthen godly families by teaching, equipping, supporting and encouraging them in God’s designs for the family. Our family ministry exists to meet the following purposes.

Teach, encourage, support and protect God's design

Teach, encourage, support and protect God’s good design and institution of marriage and the family (Genesis 2:18-24; Ephesians 5:22-33; Titus 2:4-5).

Support, strengthen and encourage marriages

To support, strengthen and encourage each marriage relationship to reflect God’s design, function, and roles in the home, church, and world (Gen. 2:24-25; Eph. 5:22-33; Mk. 10:6-12; 1 Pet. 3:7; 1 Cor. 7:1-5; 1 Tim. 3:4-5; Prov. 5:15-20).

equip and encourage parents

Equip and encourage parents as they raise their children to live wisely and grow in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:1-4; Prov. 3:11; 6:23; 13:24; 23:13; 23:23).

Make Disciples

To make disciples, as we walk with individuals, couples, parents and as we partner with them as they disciple their children (Matt. 28:19-20; Eph. 6:1-4).

Goals

Enrich
To enrich marriages so that they may be healthy and thrive in their God ordained design and functions.
Educate
To educate and provide biblical and personally applicable instruction and encouragement to married couples and parents.
Engage
To call parents to engage personally as primary faith trainers in their children’s lives. To raise the awareness and need for parents to recognize and assume the role of discipler of their children.
Equip and Encourage
To equip and encourage parents, particularly fathers, as they actively engage in the discipleship of their children. We believe parents are to be the primary ones discipling their children.
Intergenerational Relationships
To foster deepening intergenerational relationships between our families and mature believers in our church for the purpose of encouragement, godliness and transformation. The generations need each other.
Relationships
To promote and encourage deepening relationships between our families. No family is in isolation, when properly connected with the body of Christ. Our local church provides a place of instruction, support and encouragement.
Disciple
To disciple men and women. We need an intentionally designed effort to make disciple-making disciples.
Children
To assist parents as they raise children who love God and walk in wisdom (Matt. 22:37-38; Prov. 1:8; 2:5; 9:10; 15:33).
