Congratulations on staying current with the study challenge! Now it's time to be excited for your reward! If you have completed the challenge here is what you can look forward to this April during spring break!
The Overview
- April Dates: Depart Friday 10th, Saturday 11th, Return Sunday 12th.
- Where: Sue Meg (formerly Patrick's Point State Park)
- Camping: We have one of the LARGE TENT group site reserved for our group.
- Leaders: Andrew, Mariah & Adam, Crystana, Cheyla, Brooke, Luke, Joshua & Madison... plus some parents?
- Students:
- Cost: None to you! Well done on completing the challenge, your hard word paid off!
Trip Details
- Friday: The day we depart
- 9am: we'll leave for the coast from the church parking lot together
- Bring a sack lunch to eat on the beach
- 12:30pm: arrive in Trinidad for lunch on the beach
- Hike the light house path in Trinidad
- Afternoon: set up camp at group site
- Evening: sunset on wedding rock
- Leaders coming late arrive and join us
- Evening campfire games
- Saturday: The day we play
- Cook a delicious breakfast
- Prep lunch
- Head to the Agate beach to play and adventure
- Afternoon at muscle rock tide pools
- Evening campground fire and games
- Sunday: The day we return
- Cook a delicious breakfast
- Pack up and head to Ferndale
- Pizza lunch in Ferndale
- Afternoon at the beach
- 3:30pm depart for home
- 7:30pm arrive at church
Camping Details
- Students need to bring: The basics
- Sleeping bag + mattress
- Pillow
- Towel/toiletries (quarters for the showers)
- Adventure clothes/shoes/sandals (warm stuff and extra layers)
- Tent (If you have one to share)
- Spending cash $$ (if you want)
- Bible
- Activities: The fun
- Camp fires (and s'mores)
- Good food + (GF)
- Hikes (more like walks)
- The beach (hooray)
- Beautiful sunsets (on wedding rock)
- Good conversations about Jesus
